How it Works

The Freetown-Lakeville Education Foundation raises funds through individual and corporate contributions, grants and fundraising events. The majority (70%) of pooled contributions is allocated to the general fund, which is then awarded by the FLEF Board of Directors during a grant cycle. To ensure that funds are available to sustain excellence in the years to come, a portion (30%) is allocated to grow the foundation’s endowment fund.

The foundation is made possible by generous parents, residents and businesses who share a commitment to our public schools, and recognize that supporting our students and educators is essential to a strong community.

In addition to monetary contributions, we welcome volunteers for community and corporate outreach and various fundraising events. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to the future of our students.
