The Freetown-Lakeville Education Foundation was established in 2012 by a group of parents who were frustrated by budget cuts, concerned about the future of our schools, and motivated to do something positive. Today the Board of Directors – consisting of Freetown and Lakeville residents, community leaders, alumni and faculty advisors – oversee the foundation’s fundraising, community outreach and grant process. Working with an advisory council of teachers, administrators and community leaders, the Board reviews all submissions and selects grants that make a significant impact on student learning.
