The foundation’s work is possible because of the parents, residents and businesses who share a commitment to our public schools. There are many ways you can contribute:
- Donations can be made in memory or in honor of a friend or family member.
- Gifts can recognize a special teacher, past or present, who inspired a love of learning.
- A charitable gift through estate planning is a wonderful way to create a lasting legacy.
- We also encourage our supporters to seek matching grants from their employers whenever possible, to maximize the impact of their donation.
The Freetown-Lakeville Education Foundation is a fund of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts (CFSEMA), which is a 501 (c)3, tax-exempt, public charity that provides professional support and fiscal oversight to the foundation. Credit card donations are accepted for your convenience (but are subject to a 3% fee, which comes out of your donation) and receipts will specify charges have been made by the CFSEMA. Whether you make a donation online or by mail, all contributions to the Freetown-Lakeville Education Foundation are tax deductible.
