Sadly, due to the inclement weather forecast for tomorrow, we may be forced to cancel the pony rides, due to the poor footing in rain and mud. Our riders and horses safety always comes first.
Please stop in the barn with some healthy treats for the horses. The horse trainer will be available to to answer any horse questions. Sign ups for horse camps are in full swing.
Trot over to Powderly Meadows Doggie Day Care & Horse Trail Rides’ open house on Saturday, April 2, 2016, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Come take a tour of this beautiful facility, and enjoy pony walks for $5; 50% of the day’s walks will be donated to FLEF! What a great way to welcome spring and support programs in our schools!
And during April vacation, Powderly Meadows will donate 20% of Kids Riding Camp registrations to FLEF. Whether your child loves to ride or has never been on a horse before, Kids Riding Camp is a fun, energizing way to spend spring vacation week. Contact them for more details.
The Freetown-Lakeville Education Foundation would like to thank all the families that participated in Powderly Meadow’s Dog Days fundraising promotion in February. With the support of our donors and local businesses, FLEF is able to support teacher grants right here in our own schools. Thank you for your continued support!
